How much would YOU pay for a professional logo?

Fiverr has killed professional graphic design services

No, fiverr killed crap "logos" for 100$ bucks. You get what you've paid for.
In logo design you pay for creativity and experience in my opinion.
Getting back to the question: I'd pay 50$-200$ for a professional logo (unlimited revisions).

D.

It honestly depends how good your logo is. If it's a great logo, then maybe $100. If it's generic, then no more than $5.

I don't mean to flame your work but according to your portfolio i wouldn't pay more than $10-15 for that kind of work.

For one client we paid $750, logo was awesome.

For my own private project I paid 250Euros, even better than above one :)

So yeah I would say about 200 - 300 dollas ya miin

Im reading posts and Im getting an opinion that you guys dont give a damn to the logo. The logo for one company is the most important thing in the marketing. Your logo can be seen everywhere if you promote yourself. Everybody will see your logo, and the target ones will come to you immidiately. Don't think of a logo as a super easy image to make and then sell it for a hillarius prices like 5-10 bucks...
I wouldn't accept client with budget lower then 150$ for a logo.

$100-$200 it is normal price in my country. Of cource web agency send few (5-6) diffferent logos to Your choice. All unique. cdr/tiff files with used fonts.

Depends on how much time and care was put into it as well as the implications of did the artist see what i saw in my vision of what the logo will look like.

My Company Charges 250-350 per logo (3 proofs, 3 revisions of the selected page) and 450 if its going to be trademarked for grayscale etc.

Depends on the logo and what i had in mind. If it's really creative and breathtaking, i would pay $50-$200.
If not, not more than $30

Im Graphic Designer, and I wont accept to work without 50% before designing... I also have to eat, pay bills, go out... 100-200$ is a solid price, bellow 100$, you're not appriciating the work as a Graphic Artist...

It depends on how much budget do you have. You can always look on 99designs how much the proffessional logo solds out and figure the price you would pay for yours.

I would say fiverr, but then again I have also used freelancer in the past for a descent 30 buck job.

Guys this thread gave me an idea!.. I thought up a cool idea where I'd make a website where people can make logo's dirtcheap for like "$5" and destroy the graphic freelancing business.. I decided on calling the site fiverr..

oh wait..... :nerd:

Hi There:

I do logos as part of my service (my favorite single design job), but it's also the trickiest thing to get a decent paycheck for. A lot of it is based on how big the company is worth (I've heard Mobil Oil paid $1 million for their logo to a famous ad agency), but I think it's mostly perceived value, and making clients understand the value of a solid brand identity.

I always point out that I price a logo higher than other design work based on both its importance and its usage - A good logo makes the difference between looking like a totally professional operation vs. a mom & pop affair. A good logo catches the eye & gets investors, customers, loan officers, etc. headed in the right direction, vs. shutting them down immediately. If a company is selling clothing, gift items etc., a good logo = better sales vs. a crappy one.

A bad logo can also gets expensive when the client wants a better one: They have to replace everything using the old/bad logo: T-shirts, hats, outdoor signs, brochures, business cards, letterhead, vehicles, etc. A good logo is worth its weight in gold.

Finally, probably the biggest challenge to a good logo designer is all the people who own Photoshop or Illustrator and do the "Any Logo $50!" approach. The kind of businesses who think going that route deserve what they get, and will probably never understand the truth in the saying "you get what you pay for."

GOOD LUCK!

Need an idea to price my logo designs at. So the big question. How much would you pay for a professional logo design service?
