Hi Guys,

Need an idea to price my logo designs at. So the big question. How much would you pay for a professional logo design service?

Fiverr is my usual spot..there's actually some great graphic designers there

Selling it to people online - I would say $5 to $50 is possible. If you sold it to small businesses I think you could probably get 75 to 200 dollars.

I used to be a logo/web designer. The sad truth is that the price of your logos aren't correlated with how good they are (and your logos are very good!). It's rather the demand you're in. If you aren't in a high demand, you have to sell lower at first until you become in higher demand. And then raise your price continuously.

My recommendation is to start your logos out at $50-$100.

I used to partner with a marketing firm until they screwed me on a deal. They charged $700-900. Not saying that people paid that but it's what they charged.

I personally would not pay anything, I would just steal something from google images. but i know someone who charges $500 for a logo and he says he makes a lot of money.

Anywhere from $20-$100. With all the success fiverr has had, it's hard to sell items that sell on there for more. Unless of course you are way better.

... it's clear you have no idea about REAL businesses and the logo industry. At the same time I'm not surprised at your comment just by looking at your -7 Reputation.

I would pay between $50 to $500 for a logo. It really depends on what I'm looking for eg. is it for a brick and mortar business or simply a small MNS.

Your logos are very well done btw OP!

Checkout 99designs.com, some logos are worth $800, others $1500, it depends who's requesting it ;). Of course to win such price you'll need to compete against hundrets of logo creators :).

Usually normal Logo costs 30 - 50$ with 1 - 4 revisions

But professional logo depends on requirements , its usually 200 - 500$+

The maximum I have spent for a logo, for one of my personal websites, was $100.

However, you can get some really nice looking logos for around $15-20.

Like everything else its worth what someone is willing to pay, now if its an offline client you could probably get $100+ easy.
Now if its anybody on this forum you would probably be better off doing something else. You are pretty much competing with fiverr and freelancer, odesk etc etc.

I usually buy site logo's in batches of 100+ and I pay around $3-$7 per depending on turn around and quality.

I just create them by myself, they are not perfect, but they are better than anything i have ordered from designers at past.

Not because I'm that gifted with design, its just hard to find a designer who is able to understand what you actually want... Often people stack a lot of elements into the logo, just like the OP did (no offense there), while in most of the cases the best logo is the simplest one - take Facebook as example, IMHO that "f" is genius.

Well, online, there is no way you could get more than 50 $, do you know why? Because of Indinas, they are charging ridiculously low amounts of money for their jobs, i'm not saying anything bad about Indians but they FUCKING SCREWED FREELANCING WORLD ! Everyone now thinks that web design can be done for 20-30$, that web design + coding can be done for less than 100 $ and i am not even going to talk about graphic and video design and editing.
I mean, in India 100$ is much money, but i am not crazy to work 5 days constantly for 100$, since in Europe prices are like 100 x higher than in India lol...
But offline is a goldmine, people love to see the guy who's making them something, they love to come to your office, your agency or what so ever and talk with you eyes in eyes. And when you are doing logos offline, there is no limit, 200, 500, 1000$ maybe even more.

For many IMers it's going to be in the $5-$75 range.

For businesses that are not internet savvy you can get $75-$500.

I remember before I got into IM and was an offline business many years ago I paid $200 for my logo and now that I look back I realize how badly I got ripped off.

i have a fiverr gig where i give people a PNG logo for their website. i use photoshop, downloaded fonts and symbols, and cool brushes. it literally takes me about 10 minutes to make a really good looking logo.

a vector logo is another story, you can easily charge $250-300 for a good one.
