How much money do you make on YouTube?

I have no luck with video but the way I do is affiliate marketing

you don't make money unless you are promoting your own website/product
That's false. I've made about $7k(lifetime total) from Youtube alone over a coupe of years. Of course this was a couple years ago when it was easier to make money. These days the channel that made me so much money has monetization suspended with no signs of it even being restored.(BTW, if anyone can help me with that, that would be awesome)

I made up to $600 a month from Youtube on average. At the peak though I made about $900 on a December. This was all with copyright content. The way I made money was that sometimes the copyrighted contented didn't get caught by Youtube, so i occasionally was able to monetize these videos and then link to it from other, more popular videos.

So only a couple of my videos on my channel were monetized, but I linked to monetize videos from non-monetized videos and that made me a decent amount per month.

My old channel earned me a total of around 30,000$.

My new one.. Total of 1000$ :(
Since you say you old channel, i'm assuming the old channel is suspended/banned right now?
Care to share your old method? No need to be specific, you can be vague.

So far I made over $250 in the last year, but very slack and going to be doing more videos. I upload all original work and monetize my videos.
