How much money do you make on YouTube?

The only way to make money on Youtube is to either be one hell of a guy/girl that everyone would love to watch/listen, have a great talent, singing, acting, etc OR of course, BOTH be beautiful and have a talent. Thats how YouTube works, people are shallow they will only care if you either look amazing or sing amazingly.

Blackhat is dead on YouTube alone, if you mass post and have Clickbank, yeah, sure, maybe you`ll get a couple of bucks. But just taking other people`s vids and monetizing its not going to get you money, and if IT IS going to get you money it will only be for a short period of time.

Yeah well that just about sums me up.

I have many of copied videos that have consistently made money for several years.
 
$900+ a month, currently. Nothing too special, trying to build up on it.
 
Do you guys add fake views to your video to start it off? If so, is it a lot or a little?
 
One Channel is at .30 this month but I have another channel making $3-$5/day consistently. Its hit or miss, viral content is key to adsense earnings. More views = better chance of someone clicking your ad.

Something I've learned

Internet marketing and tech savvy people click ads way less, they are up to speed on advertisements. Think about who will be watching your video when making it. Kids are click crazy... PRO Tip
 
Over 1 million views for several videos + adding new channels for subscribers + doing a JV video with another popular channel so you can get their subscriber is like around 50k+ a year
 
This year has been terrible for me.

While it's just recently started to pick up, I've averaged about 1Million views and $450/ month.

Hopefully with longer videos (most of mine are between 30-60 seconds) and better keywords I'll be making much more soon.

Depends. If there are no other videos with the similar title there is no need for buying views.

But sometimes it needs a few views to get it rolling. Look at the other videos in your niche and how many they have. If the other videos in your niche got 50k views, I would probably go for 5k dripfed over a week.

But views are just one constant, dont forget to do the seo thingy.

Yes that is right but you do not earn any specific money until you've reached about 2k+ views per day then maybe a few dollar/month
My second month now first moth i did pretty well it seems I earned about 150usd :) going for 250+ this month!
 
Next to nothing. I believe in doing what I'm good at and video production/performing isn't it for me. I don't see a lot of point in regurgitating what's already out there in the hope of making a few quid. If you've got something of value to post regularly then I imagine the sky is the limit
