Really depends of the links. It may cost between buy now $12-$24 price up to say $150, if we talk solely for links and ignore the name itself. Its quite different to have 40 RDs with links from nwtimes, BBC, 10 universities and 5 gov, and to have 40 RDs from forums and web 2.0. Metrics are quite useless to determine the price of domains. The niche is important as well - finance or health domain with decent links may go even more than $150, despite having just 40 RDs, but entertainment or general niche domain to go for $15.Got a domain name with these stats from auctions.

That's soooo litle information.. I have a 20 yr old domain with more than 40 RD that isn't worth anything.. it's just the first domain I ever bought so I am very fond of it.. So tell us more.. How many characters? any dashes or numbers? Is it a word/combination of keywords? If not.. how about the stats? DA? DR? niche? how about the history?
It doesn't matter if it's worth that much or not, if you already got it
It doesn't matter if it's worth that much or not, if you already got itJust make sure you get your money's worth out of it.. but depending on what you want to do with it.. If you want to build a website, you should get it stronger because it doesn't have the strongest links.. also, some of the top DR links can be built for free so that gets its value to a lower number..
You still make a profit. Be patient and wait the right buyer. The domain cost me $116
