Heavily, yes. Google bot is visiting us though, but rarely indexes/updates even the homepage.

Heave you both been crawled? Is this the case for sites unaffected by the October update?
 
Yes, last update created massive indexing even with high authority sites. I think this is glitch they may be fixed it later
 
Same here, now every time I publish a new post. I've to go through the URL inspection to index it, before the last update the posts were automatically getting fetched and indexed.
 
Yes, my sitemaps, .xml files were not crawled after 17th October. IDK why.
but still pages I manually submit are getting 95% indexed in 4 to 5 days.

Here are the top five issues I found on websites of all sizes.

  1. Crawled – currently not indexed (Quality issue).
  2. Duplicate content.
  3. Discovered – currently not indexed (Crawl budget/quality issue).
  4. Soft 404.
  5. Crawl issue.
 
Mostly I've been ok, but I've been suffering from nothing being crawled since early Oct on one of my sites. This site was recently revamped with a new design, a load of new content and lots of mobile errors fixed. I've requested validation for the pages with errors but it's slow going.

Edit: checking my GSC for this site just now and I'm seeing recrawls of the urls I've submitted - hopefully the indexing clog is getting worked through!
 
It seems that all indexing services are not working. They tell me to wait and they say there is no problem. However, it is not indexed. I'm at a loss as to how to solve this problem. Purchased backlinks are piled up, but it is not indexed, so it is a headache.
 
Also facing that problem. But I'm trying to fix that problem through my own services.
 
Less with sites more with backlinks.
