Hello. I am going to be following Matthewwoodwards tiered link building guide. In his first tier he uses Ultimate Demon and sets the program to stop running after 100 completions(or submissions?)--- PER each type of link he builds. And there are 7 platforms he uses... So technically that would be 700 links that he spreads over the length of 14days.

I wanted to know, for this business niche, relatively brand new, 30 articles so far. More to be added every couple of days....

The competition for the 3 keywords/ 3 pages i want to rank for have anywhere from 20 - 400 links i believe.

How many links should i shoot for per day, per month? This site was registered a couple of months ago. Content added about 2 weeks ago. I want to start with 3 pages, including the homepage. I am ready to start, just wanted to know(Post Penguin 2.1) how many links should i shoot for these days?

    2-8 SUBMISSIONS/day?????

All help and tips would be appreciated. I have some tools in the arsenal already. Keyword researcher, TheBestSpinner, Market Samurai, LongTailPlatinum, Firefox (<-LoL).... Matt's guide uses Ultimate Demon, and then GSA for tier 2 and 3. Kontent Machine for content for tier 2 and 3. I planned on buying these tools. Well, UD and Kontent Machine would be the subscription for a couple of months until I have more money to invest(since I already put a good amount out- i want to make some back first).

How many links per day or randomly per month? Any and all info and tips appreciated. Thanx

There's no exact blue print on how many links per day/week/month should be built. But, 700+ links within the first 14 days on a brand new site I can almost (I said almost) guarantee that you will get a penalty. Your back link profile should show a natural growth/progression and building that many links for a new site within such a short amount of time will more than likely trigger a penalty or a manual review.

There are going to be quite a few answers to this because it depends on your point of view.

    * Your own Site - want to rank quickly - don't care if Site attracts a penalty -- low quality tiered link building with spun articles

then I think you can start today with 20 links a day assuming site is older than 30 days.

    * Your Own Site - want to build to authority - want to avoid penalties - careful tier building - unique content

then I would initially just do the basics - create social profiles - distribute unique content and keep link building for the first 3-4 months to manual high PR Sites and would start slow - 5 links a day for first 3-5 months - then increase to 20-30 and move higher.

    * Customer Site - well here everything should be manual / unique content and should avoid forum profiles and really spammy work

here it depends more on competition / brand name etc as to how many links to build -- something that already has some authority then it will be more natural to see alot of links coming into the Site - so you could move faster.

Link Building / Content / Tiers etc is alot more trial and error now - depending on many factors -- the more important a Site is the more care needs to be taken -- because any penalty these days can be time consuming to overcome.

I agree with Veyron -- just as my answer above indicates .... Sites have to progress in a natural rhythm - and that depends on niche/content/brand/authority etc

so you really need some analysis - of what makes sense for where your competing.

Ok. Thanx for the info. I think I am going to start with 3-8 link Submissions/day....... I was thinking about Ultimate Demon. Cant get the one time license right now, but was going to start the monthly... What are your opinions? Should i do the monthly 47/month for UD or something else? I hear of some "... submitter" for 20/month. And many other tools ofcourse. Although I would prefer a one time fee.... I am only looking for posting to places where I can post a contextual link. So to Web 2.0 and Article directories... And Wikis? I dont really understand wikis. Is it you creating the wiki, or you posting your link as a refference on the end of the Wiki page under the article?

The other types of links I will purchas GSA for.

So please tell me what you think. AAAANNNNDDDDD What are the software solutions you are using yourself. Thanx!

The best thing you need to have is the Scrapebox and for linkbuilding, it is GSA.
There are no must-follow guides stating link velocity. Start off slow with web 2.0s and guest posts with "unique content"
Go on increasing your velocity and most importantly, don't try to stop the process abruptly.

Based on what you want, the best software that can post to different high quality contextual targets is of course GSA SER ..I'm thinking by now you already have gotten Gsa and have achieved higher rankings or?
