My timeframe used to be, per hour:
- 1000-1500 words researched & completed.
- on-page SEO completed.
- images, copyright cleared, edited, and inserted in the article.
That word count varies depending on how well I understand the subject I'm writing about.

Damn, you knocking this out in an hour? It usually takes me about 4 hours sometimes even a whole day for one post like this. I am really trying to step my game up.
Do you do any infographics?

It took me a long time to get my process down. Sure, sometimes it takes like 90 minutes, not an exact hour every time, but you know what I mean.
I have done infographics in the past, but I prefer ordering them as my graphic design abilities are a bit lackluster.

Even though I consider myself a decent writer never worked developing content at a scale I know my cousin/goddaughter is working for a content marketing agency and she writes 100,000+ words per month on a variety of topics and she´s pretty damn decent.

Yeah, I write at almost the same pace. Although if an article requires less research I can go up to 2k words an hour.
I think for content writing to be worthwhile you should be able to finish a 1k word article within one hour. There's really no point slogging away for four hours just for 1k words. At that point your grasp of the English language isn't strong enough yet. Or you're a perfectionist. Either way, you would be better off outsourcing quality content.
Remember volume is key (in addition to well-written articles). Every day I try to write at least five 800 word articles on my main site. It takes me around three hours.

My writing goes about the same way. Also, if I take personalized, custom pictures, it may take longer. However, usually I just do a skip rescaling & photoshop edit, and ensure it's ready to be indexed within google images.
My answer to OP question will always somewhat vary depending on what I'm writing about, image research/editing, etc, but that's the average time frame. The usual timeframe.
