How I made 20x ROI in 11 days selling a domain name

Will you tell me the age of your domain ?
What is your domain extension ?
.com,.net,.info,.in,.io etc

Ok thanks for the info. Do you ever get stuck with domains? Let’s say you find a guy in Canada with “www.JoesElectric.com” so you buy JoesElectric.ca and try to sell it to him. But if he’s not interested you end up losing the cost of the domain.
Or do you go for more generic domains? Like instead you buy TorontoElectricians.com so if Joe isn’t interested, maybe bob from Toronto would be?

Most of the domains I purchase are stuff I can use later even if it doesn’t sell.

But I will not say that it didn’t happen. I did buy domains that I couldn’t sell for some time so I let them go with a cost of registration fee.

Since Joe is a common name, I think there should be more than 1 person wanting using that name for their company. So actually that’s a good name. But if it was JoeKingElectric.com , it would limit number of potential buyers because there are less Joe Kings than Joes.

This specific domain was only 11 days old until it got sold. The extension was .us

So can we assume this is a hit and miss kinda method?

Great method for everyone to get started. We need some skills to find the domain however. You indeed found a great one!

Nice method. Need to have some patience and be consistent to see some profit. Thanks for sharing this.

Followed you journey and it inspired me very much. From yesterday I started researching keywords and I found a brand name domain which was expired. So, I researched deeply on it. After deep research, I purchased that domain today. Now, I am going to list all the companies who may interested to buy this domain. And after that I will send emails to them. But bro, do you have any idea, what types of emails works best or how to write it?
Thanks

I wanted to share how I made 20x ROI in 11 days just by selling a domain name with email marketing. Hopefully it can be motivational for others out there who are trying to flip or sell domains too.

1) Found a domain that was recently dropped.

2) Checked and researched Google to check potential buyers. It was over more than 20 companies.

3) Purchased the domain name for $10.88 from a registrar.

4) Gathered emails of potential buyers by entering their website or a Google search.

5) Prepared a short and directly on point email template. No more than 3-5 sentences.

6) Emailed potential buyers. Some responded back interested and asking for the price.

7) After sending emails to potential buyers for 4-5 days I started receiving replies. Two companies were interested to purchase the name. After some back and forth replies and negotiations one of them agreed to purchase the domain for $250.

8) 11 days from the registration date I ended up selling the name for $250.

Yes, maybe it could’ve sold for more if I was more patient. But I’m happy with my return and directly settled for such amount. If I can do it, so can you!
great work

these work the best.

Keep the email simple, couple sentences directly to the point.

Wish you the best with your sales. I’m glad it inspired you.

Check out the Domain Name DropCatch KILLER!
Hi,
If I may ask.. Do you mean this software can beat dropcatch because I've had experience with those guys, they are Good at it when it comes to catching domains.

Very nice, how did you transfer the domain? There is a 60 day locking period.

This sounds interesting. I will give it a try. I can see potential on this method. That's really "Thinking outside the box"

Yeah, there is a 60 day lock period. However, you can do a domain push(within a registrar). Dan.com actually has escrow accounts with many registrars. If your sold domain is registered with one of Dan's registrar, you can push your sold domain to their escrow account and receive your money.

Sold another one.

Purchase Price: RF
Selling Price: $200
Extension: .com
Hold time: 2.5 months

Good Business idea.Seriously,I have never thought this before.great share.I will try to apply your strategy.I hope I will get same result

Can this be done with phone calls rather than emails? I know many people do not use the phone anymore, but I am very good on the phone and I can call anywhere in Canada and the USA free of charge.
