Hello, I've create a meeting website and I need users but ads are too expensive.
How start my business, get more users ?

Alternatively start spreading your website on relevant social media (FB, IG, Reddit, etc.)

SEO is a long-term game, so it takes time to rank and drive traffic. You can contact webmasters to place your site in best/top lists for branding. Join relevant social media groups and start promoting your site. You can also try shoutouts from influencers in your niche. As meetings is not a mainstream niche, you can get these shoutouts for a cheap price.

Make your friends to become your users, ask friends of your friends to do the same.
Provide the best service of options or whatever to your users and I believe soon you will experience natural growth.
On this stage I believe some buzz on social networks will be useful.

You've created a meeting wesbite and that is great because you've got some business idea that is relevant to the ongoing pandemic, people working from home, etc. You are concerned about promoting it. To be honest with you, ads are not always expensive and in any online business, you must have some budget towards advertising, as there is no other better effective way to promote an online business. You may feel that ads are expensive because you may have perhaps contacted some digital marketing agencies, who obviously like to hype up and charge high. Do 1 thing : try a few online ads by yourself, example Google Ads : create your Google Ads account and try to run a search campaign, it would not be too expensive for your niche. Try some other ad platforms as well on your own, not through any ad agency and you would realize that it is not too expensive to run ads pertaining to your niche.
