How effective are profile links?

I was thinking to make profile link to my main domain not on any inner pages. Does they help in increasing da and pa or they help in ranking.

Or are they just good for link diversity?

Please share your views.

Useless but somewhat ok for link diversity but still not my cup of tea
 
I agree. I think it's a waste of time. I haven't personally done these in 4-5 years. A couple of them wouldn't be bad for diversity. However, you have to ask the question if it's really worth the time and effort it takes? What else could you be doing in that time instead that give you better results?
 
it will help but you need to build tier 2 backlink for it too...

You need to be building super high quality guest posts on other sites. They have to be niche relevant. The higher DA and organic search they get the better.

It's not easy to get a guest post approved though. So you need to make sure you check their site and see what kind fo posts they normally do there. Make sure do at least as well as there own articles and maybe even better just to make sure you get the approval.
 
Getting profile links from niche relevant sites with high TF will certainly not have any negative impact. Even if they are nofollow, can still help. Nofollow links may not pass juice, but they certainly pass some sort of signals. “Relevance signals” will never hurt. If you can find profiles that are relevant high TF, it’s worth putting a link there.

Pro tip:
Check the robots.txt file on the site to make sure the profile pages are indexable before dropping a link, otherwise a complete waste of time.

My point of view its help to ranking improve DA PA and build google trust
 
Depends on your profile and PA. I've had some positive effects from REAL profile pages that have activity.
They are also great for diversity.
 
A few quality profile links will not harm, however I don't recommend overdoing it.

Links from forum profiles are taken into account, they are excellent for diluting reference mass, they transmit TIC, promote woofers and are also free.

The effectiveness of personally posted links on the forums is much higher than the efficiency of any automatic run and does not require investments. You just need to know how to properly put such links.

because i am working on it . It gives me result my keyword ranked and also work on event blogging they give me much better results

Do you build backlinks on them to make them effective or any thing else?/
