How do you stay motivated and focused?

the thing is peope is not motivated until they see results. and to see results you need to work, try things and find out what works.

The more I earn, the more motivated and focused I get. Money is like a drug.[/QUOTE
In my opinion, money is a drug.
Even worse than a lot of other drugs out there...

For me it really works if I keep reminding myself about the reason why I started something in the first place. Purpose and meaning really keeps my motivation high for the long run

It's really important to know why you started

Set goals for nice stuff (nice house, badass car, hot chicks, whatever you're into - those are my three ha) for motivation - print out pictures and keep them around you to motivate you if you need visual reminders. With a solid goal you'll be more likely to stick with one or a few projects until they take off (in my experience, at least). But you can't jump from one method or idea to another too quickly or you're only wasting your time. Use productivity apps such as Freedom to stay on task and block time-wasting websites and apps while you're working.

I wanna b*ang my favorite p*rnstar, i'd print a naked pic of her and hang it on the wall so my family can see that my d*ck is what motivates me...just kidding

But you're right, ask yourself: what do you wanna make money? why do you wanna do this? why do you wanna do that?

Find the thing that fuels your motivation, and don't lose your focus. You may give up here and there, don't stop there, keep pushin'.

You, my friend, are discouraged by a significant setback, and you have to build up some momentum and confidence, when I want momenutm and confidence i tick off the boxes i need to do and realize how much progress is really possible and it feels good man. I do this by planning quickly and following up on my planning

Write down your overall plan - it doesnt have to be detailed, but much like the [METHOD] posts here or whatever like
1. domain name
2. hosting
3. wordpress
4. sign up for offers....

the details here arent important - but the key is to get steps you know you need down on the record.
then as you accomplish those steps, i just type DONE next to them, but you could do in a spreadsheet or checklist software

when you reach little complications that add details to the big sections, just turn those into new line items

i dont update this more than a couple times of day -- although sometimes i go back in and put things i know i will need later like a URL -- or when I signed up for an affiliate that required a callback - i just pasted in the text of their instructions for the callback

referencing a great reply from earlier in the thread -- this is your new Dopamine hit! as you spool through these items, you get closer to your goal

Eat less. Consume whey protein : comes in powder and you mix 3 tablespoons in a glass of milk (mix properly) & drink it ... 2 to 3 times a day. It will give your body & brain "top dog" nutrition & your body & brain will always feel energetic & fresh enabling you to stay focussed & motivated. This has helped me tremendously.
Wtf lol. If you consume too much protein and your body switches to using it for energy it will be very straining for your kidneys.

Thanks! I did this before! This helped me in the earlier days when I started IM. Going to try this again!

Good one! Thanks for the feedback.

Come up with some sort of personal reward system

Both short-term and long-term goals are needed

The ones that helped me are not on the develop-your-motivation list but I’ll share:

1. I read many of these written by Osho
2. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

Hey guys! I'm new to BHW but have heard of this site before. My friend always used to talk about it before. So let me get straight to the point.

I'm a 20-year-old University Student. I first heard of IM when I was 16 years old. I tried out everything I came across. Everything failed. 3 months ago I started a dropshipping store, didn't go as I hoped to. Then I started another store. This one did good! In my first week, I did 6500$ in revenue = 3000$ in profit. I was happy and hungry to hustle more! But after 1 week it just went down. That made me lazy and I lost focus. I've been trying to force myself to work and start the business again. But my procrastination is killing me.

The IM OG's out there, do you have any tips you could give me?

Sorry for my bad English. English is not my first language.
Watch video on YouTube from successful entreprenuer like Grant Cardone, Dan Lok, Tai Lopez, Ed Mylett.. many more. They keep me going daily

Money. Money is what motivates me.
