how do you make money on instagram

Instagram is a huge platform to make money on, but the question is how? Last year on instagram i use to make $500+ a day doing comment spam but now instagram is smarter and basically banned comment spamming. Does anyone know how to pass through Instagram's API system, thus allowing me to comment spam back again?
