1. if it’s a video targets , Just maybe there is hardly what you can do. The intent is to watch a video / YouTube like you mentioned.
The keyword is a popular movie character, the keyword is exactly their name. So the expected search result should be their profile, reason why Wikipedia and other similar(wiki) sites that share character profile occupies the number 1 to 3 positions. Firstly, there's an image pack before these 3 sites, my image is among but not the top of the pack but when you choose images I am number 3/4.
After the three sites, there is a video pack that consists of 4 videos. My point is, the intent is not exactly videos. It's like searching for 'Jon Snow', you get videos from the movie, profiles results from wikipedia and other similar sites like fandom.
2. Position 8 and 10 at not the best for CTR .Maybe searchers are only scrolling down to find related long tail keywords to their primary keyword . I would have recommended placing a heatmap / page record to see how users are reacting but they never clicked and ideally out of your control.
Yes, I agree that position 8 t 10 do not get the best CTR but with an impression of over 20k the past 7 days and daily 4k+, I should get even a trickle. I have other pages and keywords at similar position that get clicks but they don't have the kind of impression. By the way, the entire screenshot you see are for the same page, other keywords that clicks are asking some other information about the specific character. About heatmap, it's not possible for me to place a heatmap on Google search, unless on my site which I don't think would answer my question, maybe I do not understand you correctly.
BTW, I did a quick search to see if there's any tool that could give the accurate or very close, CTR rate for each search result, this would confirm if those videos get all the clicks, won't be surprised, if they do.
Solution : I’m a big fan of piggybacking on what’s works/ working. So I’d copy the best YT title earning the most clicks then paraphrase to give almost meaning .
Not to be combative of your solutions, changing title would hurt me more and probably push my site out of the first page because some other pages that feature on the first page, Google had to change their title to exactly how I have it for them to fit into.
I was thinking of creating a video of the said character to see if it could rank.
Another thing I want to try do is play around with the Meta description. Even though what I presently isn't bad, I have to modify and optimize it.
Thanks a lot for your time, I really do appreciate.
