How Do I Redesign & Add New Content To My Old Site

My 4 year old site is generating 400 UV a day, with around 20 posts that have 600 words on average. I haven't posted on that site for like 3 years. I just saw that it has a lot of potential and low competition. It is in the Health & Fitness niche.

What concerns me the most is that it has an EMD and uses posts & categories instead of pages.

I have four questions for you.

1.) Will this stop me from having a great SEO and site structure?

2.) Should I start writing pages instead of posts, or should I continue using posts and sort them in categories?

3.) If so, how do I organize my site with posts & categories, instead of pages?


I also want to change the entire design on the site and install Thrive Architect.

4.) Should I copy all of the text from the existing article, and paste it on the new Thrive Landing page? If so do you think the redesign will improve, or hurt my current rankings?

yeah u will its a better idea to sort them all in posts and categories for this you can manage all the website easily it is more seo friendly

yes you can copy paste your pages into posts and categories for redesign. it will be more beneficial

400visits/day from an aged site as yours without any effort from your part is damn good. I think you start writing posts and filter them up using categories. I suppose you were using WP.
