How do I rank a squeez page?

Hello Everyone,
I am going to promote a clickbank offer by making a sales page for it but the question is how do I get it ranked?

Lets say I have a sales page abc and it is a long sales page. I know It is very very difficult to rank this page. Can I do something like this abc/blog/articles and write diffrent articles under abc/blog with low competition keywords and try to get that ranked?

and how will I be ranking those posts do I have to write tons of post? or how many do you suggest as I don't planning on running a blog but trying to sell a product.

I hope you understand what I am trying to ask here. Also suggest me on how should I be ranking this page.

You just need to create blog posts on other website and post links pointing back to your landing page.

i.e create review articles on XYZ and recommend your product (link to your landing page).

Or create general articles talking about XYZ problem and say that your product solves that problem (and have a link point back to your site).

Post those articles on web 2.0 sites then build links to those web 2.0 sites so that they rank... and once they rank, their juice will flow down and get your main website/landing page to rank.

when you creating a squeeze page, create a folder that is keyphrase friendly and name the squeeze page "index" and then put it in that folder.
