How do I make money with $10k and half a year?

Hi guys. I've been a lurker around here for some time now, and I finally have some money to try building an income online with. I'm gonna graduate college soon (5 months to be precise), and have saved up $10k by working part-time. I really hate my major (done some internships and stuff) and it doesn't appear that I am going to get a job. The number of job applications I've sent out are nearing 100, and I've only gotten 3 interviews, none of which I have heard back from. So, what can I do to build up $500 in monthly income in 6 months? Thanks.

Congrat in Advance since you finishing college soon -- There are great ways to earn a bank but the little problem is you testing some out as what working for Mr A might not work for Mr B . Here are links you can get started with;

You can look in AMZ Aff , Shopify, Build and Flip etc...

Those would earn you more than enough.

Hello OP,

You can make a website and earn with Adsense and build links for every month gradually. If all goes well, you will get good revenue started within 6 months. Before start building websites, just go through the basics of websites, Google algorithm guidelines, SEO etc. Best of luck with your work.

u can go the adsense way like said its best way, if ur hardworking n lucky ull make lot more than that, another alternative is yotube blogging.

but many now in amazon afflicates, etc making money fast i guess.

Good luck, man. Remember, persistence is the most important thing with online businesses (and most worthwhile things in general). Keep learning and working at it and you'll see results eventually.

Basically everything can earn money, do what you like is my advice..lol

I personally like SEOs and affiliate website. Basically be smart with your 10k, also think whether you willing to use it up? Invest wisely on your money and do yourself is totally different thing.

If going affiliate website, i would do the following:
1) Read what is it about, the basic concepts and basic strategy
2a) Go through all the vendors for website (identify a few that you think is good, asked yourself, what do you based it on? based on reviews of portfolio members? or ). Then talk to the vendors and also asked around anyone try their service before??
b) Set budget for it (x for backlinks , x for domain , x for content writing etc) - reserve some money for trial and change vendor.
c) Know how to validate the service is good or not. If good continue, else discuss with vendor to refund or change, otherwise forget it and try another vendor.
3) Same for backlinks + new keywords
4) The key is simple, identify good vendors, tell them you need their help for more technical thing (e.g i want to rank this particular article, ask for their advice), be daring and talk to a few. And make sure you understand what they are talking about, Don't understand? Ask them for reference or website to study, Research until you understand it.


Making money is not really hard if you got some capital. Sometimes making money is just making a good judgement and be willing to be thick-faced to ask the pros to help...

Pick something you're extremely passionate about.

Make 4-5 Instagram accounts related around your niche with related names.

If I'm passionate about gardening, or travel, or fashion. I'll make accounts related one.

For example, gardening, one name could be:
gardeningthingsdaily

On the account, you'd obviously fill in the bio with something like:

"Gardening posts daily
Tools, techniques, and tricks found here
Follow if you're interested in gardening."

A profile picture of course.

Repeat for 3-4 more accounts, with different names, but related to gardening, filled in bios, and profile pictures.

This is where some will power comes in.

Everyday on each account post 1-2 pictures, with related hashtags. And everyday on each account, find a profile related to your niche, and make sure it's active. On it's most recent posts, start following the people who liked it, start slow and follow about 30 a day, each day increase by about 10 until you start hitting 100 a day. You can probably do more, but it's what I've been doing. This is to ensure Instagram doesn't ban you. Starts unfollowing when you hit 500 following, by unfollowing 50 a day.

THIS CAN BE AUTOMATED. You have money to invest, I'd suggest a bot, read into that more by doing research.

This will build you multiple Instagram accounts with followers of about 5k+.

4 accounts with 5k followers = 25k reach.

From here you can start looking at ways of monetization. An example could be an affiliate website with gardening tools, articles, and reviews, with affiliate links to amazon products (yours of course). Continue to be active on ALL accounts and keep building them, you'll see your hard work pay off.
