I've researched online about this topic and came to a conclusion that with ccTLD you geotarget a specific country and your website will be ranked better in that country (and only in that country). So if you're not targeting a specific country, purchasing a ccTLD is a waste of money and you'd be better off with a .com/net/org. Is that correct?
Also, I haven't found anything on how similar ccTLD (example .in.rs & .rs or .co.at & .at) compare to each other when it comes to ranking and SEO, so I'd really appreciate if somebody could share some information about this.
