How can I successfully launch my blog?

Get more followers?
You need to:
1. write new content or share other website's content and make sure it's quality and interesting
2. share the content in a lot of social sites' posts and put links to your blog in social sites' media profile
3. promote it in your signature when posting in forums (different forum have different rules)
4. promote it when commenting on other blogs/websites (some of them have URL option in comments, put it there)
5. suggest to your friends local and worldwide
6. write it in your email signature
7. Use email marketing where users can receive new updates automatically via email

Forums Qna social sharing would be great options to get popular your blogs.

I've only been blogging for about 2 weeks, however this is what i've done so far:
1. Pick a subject that i'm familiar with
2. Create social network accounts for Twitter, Facebook, Google +
3. Follow as many twitter / facebook pages that are doing a similar thing to you, the more successful the better. Great for ideas for your next post, keep a separate document for ideas.
4. Write good fresh content, or get a really good spinner, ensure you're sharing to each one of your networks (i used the Yoast plugin for this)
5. Sign up for google adsense and amazon affiliates, put ads in one of you side bars
Future plan is:
1. Drive more traffic to site using backlinks (considering purchasing scrapebox for this)
2. Look into a freelance writer that will work for $5 per hour, should be enough for 2 articles per day. Check freelancer site, they have plenty on offer. This is only once I've hit $5 a day for adsense
3. Investigate a second blog, rinse and repeat.
I'm a bit new, so forgive me if my plan is a bit obvious / novice.

Do SEO and get your blogposts ranked on the top. Then use FB Likejacker on your page.
