HEY BHW

I currently have an eCommerce store build on Wordpress/Woocommerce generating around 3k-5k in sales a month off a patented product that is pretty unique for a very niche audience. A few years ago in December, the store hit around 20k in sales. However the last 2 years has been pretty slow.

I can go more in depth on the product if needed, but my main question is what can I do in the next week or two to help boost my sales 2x or 3x.

Things I have brainstormed to implement are:

1. Facebook giveaway of a few hundred dollars worth of product
(Like page, tag 2 friends & share post etc. Winner announced around Christmas)

2. Make some kind of post and share it to a ton of Facebook groups related to niche
(not sure what kind of post would help conversions in Facebook groups?)

3. Ask blogs to write review articles, although if I have to ship product not sure they can get it done on time.

4. Pay for 5k-25k words of content split into different articles to be posted on the site that I can post on Facebook page to help make sharable content.
(not sure if this is more along the lines of long term SEO)

Other information:
I have tried Facebook ads with a few hundred dollars and it didn't really help or get that many sales. Perhaps my ads were not conversion worthy, but PPC hasn't done much for sales in the past so I'm not really sure if I want to do that again because my budget is limited. I have around 1k fans on the Facebook page and 800-900 existing customer emails. Also around 3500 followers on instagram.

If anyone has some good ideas that they've tried around this time of year that works please let me know. I've read a lot of posts here on BHW, but with all the info I don't know where to start or what to do:(

Thanks in advance:)

just use facebook to promote the products in the right places .

use groups
use ads
use shout outs

get invloved in forums promoting xmas presents .

not hard at all.

buy gsa lists for your products.
use rankerx to promote your products.

learn to promote your website , can be the best website in the world if no one can see it not worth shit.

you need to learn keyword research and google trends ....

Before Christmas? Not long enough for SEO. I'd recommend paid advertisements. Bing Ads / Google Adwords.

The christmas groups are a good idea! I don't know what GSA lists are & I have done keyword research on products that I used for on-site SEO which is where most of my sales come from, although I could definitely use better keywords because I've looked at my analytics stats to where my sales come from and it looks like most of the sales come directly from the company name being searched. I should probably read more on SEO. I have a $300 budget to get content written. I don't know how useful that would be.

Before Christmas? Not long enough for SEO. I'd recommend paid advertisements. Bing Ads / Google Adwords.

I tried paid ads a few times, I never saw a profitable return on what I spent on ads, perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I would usually promote videos of the product instead of just pictures and offered a discount code on the ad, but didn't see boost in sales.

  • First every week write 2 blogs related Christmas post these blogs to Web 2.0 sites then share these blogs in social media specially Facebook (in groups and individual).
  • Try to use Facebook paid service as it is very useful for getting results in short time.
  • Try to use Google AdWord Shopping ad service as it is also very useful getting results in short time (in groups and individual).
  • Create unique video in Youtube weekly once and share this video in social media specially Facebook.

Paid advertisement is the best option considering how close Xmas is. Make sure you know what you're doing though because blindly using paid ads will burn money fast with no results. Some YouTube videos before going in is the minimum.
