Can you tell me what is the performance difference between the Premium and Budget range for your Windows VPS?
The Budget vps seem to be much better than the Premium and are cheaper. What is the secret?

I think the difference in ram and cpu frequency does not compare to the difference in price. The cheap vps offers more cpu and ram.

You can Google "EPYC vs Ryzen use cases" for more detailed information but generally it's use cases. The EPYC are built more for workstations general applications that can optimize multiple cores where as some things like hosting game servers or websites generally work much better on high frequency CPUs (Ryzen).

So raw CPU performance there isn't as much difference. The Ryzen CPUs are very limited in the amount of RAM each node can fit (maximum of 128GB) which is why there is less RAM. Our Dual EPYC 7542 nodes have 512/1024GB RAM in each of them as they support up to 2TB.
