[HIRING] Reddit Marketing Operations Manager - Long-Term Role
I run a Reddit marketing agency with a growing roster of long-term clients. Some of them are fairly big companies where they have legal teams look over our contracts. It's a real business where we need to be professional and always stay on top of deliverables. Looking for someone to take ownership of ongoing campaign operations across multiple accounts.
What the Role Involves
- Have access to an SEO tool such as Ahrefs (I use this myself) - keyword research, competitor research, finding Reddit posts that rank on Google relevant to each client. The workflow for campaign planning and research is actually quite straight forward and easy. Maybe takes about 1 hour per client.
- Content quality checking - reviewing Reddit comments and threads written by our content team. You need to have a solid understanding of Reddit marketing and ideally some hands-on experience with it or similar guerrilla marketing work. You should understand how AI-written copy patterns show up and how to spot them. Because we want to avoid being called out or getting our content mod removed. Content must read natural and organic, never promotional or forced. Some background in copywriting and understanding how people think, what drives intent behind a search or a message- that kind of thing is important here.
- Brand accuracy - making sure the content does not misrepresent the client. If a client sells a trading indicator, the content cannot call it a trading bot. You should catch these kinds of mistakes when scanning content before pushing it live. It's actually fairly simple as well. Most of the content should not go too deep into technical details anyways so it's rare that the writers make these mistakes. But still need to keep an eye out. Cannot publish content blindly!
- Posting and scheduling - publishing content through our platform. The software is purpose-built for this work, easy to use, and won't take much time to get familiar with.
- Campaign oversight - staying on top of where we are with each client at all times. How many comments are live, how many threads are scheduled, what is pending, what needs to move.
I need someone who is genuinely reachable. During working hours, yes. But also someone with the mindset of being available always. At least let me know that they received my message and will get back to me later. If I send a quick message on a weekend and it only takes you a minute to check your phone, I expect a reply. I am not asking you to work around the clock. But clients sometimes ask for updates outside of normal hours, and we need to be able to respond promptly. I want the peace of mind that if I reach out, I will hear back. I also expect proactive communication and reporting.
You do not need to write copy yourself. But you need to understand it well enough to give real, specific feedback. Sometimes, rather than sending notes to a copywriter and waiting for them to iterate, the smarter move is to make the small edit yourself, publish the content, and pass the feedback along so the writer improves for next time. If you are the right person for this role, you will understand why that matters.
We work on monthly client packages. Staying on top of delivery timelines is expected. Things can move around, but the mindset should always be to be ahead, not behind.
This is not a side gig. It requires daily attention throughout the month. Real clients, real deliverables, real accountability.
Pay
Monthly, per client managed. Paid after the monthly report is delivered to the client. Payment is made business to business. You will need to be able to provide an invoice.
Long-Term
If you are reliable and do good work, this is a real ongoing role. We work with established companies and new clients come in every month. Some stick for many months which makes deliveries easier because you learn the niche. There is no ceiling on how much work is available for the right person. Months and possibly years of work for someone who is serious about it and does a good job.
Before You Apply
Please read through this listing fully before reaching out. Go through every point and ask yourself honestly if you are up for all of it. The work is actually quite straight forward. Once the workflows are in place it's just staying on top things and tracking progress. Most of the work is done via google sheets.
I am not looking for someone who skimmed the title and sees an opportunity to make some side gig money. I am looking for someone who has read this carefully, understands what the role involves, and is confident they can deliver on all of it consistently.
