I'm not seeing the possible business model here.
For this to be profitable for the miner, you'd have to pay them significantly more than the market price of what they are mining. This doesn't seem like a good idea, since you'd be buying well above the current market rate for the coin.
Am I missing something here?

Buy some ETH and hold it until you get a reasonable ROI. Only put money you are willing to loose.
