Hey, If I want to have a programmer make me a software where would be the best place for me to outsource this? Also, how would I make sure once the programmer creates it for me, he or she doesn't share it? Thinking about making a tool for social media. A lot of these tools on BHW are great, they just get outdated and I would rather have it always updated etc. I know if would probably be costly but worth it in the long run even I wanted to charge for it

You should check out a company called 'Developer Discovery'. They will assign a dedicated project manager to you and assign your project to one of their international development partners.
