Hey BHW members,
I have recently gotten into to PPD and youtube, where I just upload a vid and link to a file the viewer wants,-->then they fill out survey and get the file.
However, I have been having really low conversions, as only a fraction the people who click my links actually fill out the survey. Currently, I am just linking directly to the PPD site.

So, I was wondering which of these converts the best:
1) Linking directly to full file on PPD site, user fills out survey gets file (currently what I am doing)
2) Upload file to to mediafire, but password protect, tell user to go to PPD site and fill out survey to get password
3) Upload password to mediafire, tell user that password protected file is on PPD site

I hope you guys can help me out here, as this is the first time I have ever taken action and have had any success whatsoever. If you guys have any other tips please let me know
Thanks so much guys

That all depends what kind and traffic volume we are talking about?

Well, my traffic is coming from youtube, all my videos are in the gaming niche for hacks/games and that kind of stuff. Ive gotten a few hundred clicks on the link that leads directly to the locked file, but my conversion rate is like < 1% which sucks.
Thanks

Thanks dude!! Are you using like uploadpay/one of those PPDs or are you locking your content with your own gateway?

Alright, i think ill try the link gateway as Im signed up at adscendmedia...BTW, how are you driving traffic, just using youtube or...?
Thanks a ton

U are in a very saturated niche. The days of games hacks videos are over. Try to promote something with less competition

Thanks for the advice bro. But for me, these niches don't seem too saturated. My videos are ranking quite fast and im having no problem getting views. My only concern is:
Are the people in this kind of niche getting too smart to fill out surveys? Im about to start moving more towards software/apps niche.
