Long time lurker, finally getting time to be more involved in this community. I'm looking to learn more about internet marketing strategies. I come from the IT and REI industries. Over 10 years I've built 2 businesses around IT, consulting firm and MSP. In REI, I'm more on the ownership/passive generation side. My company purchases, renovates, and rents apartment complexes that are in poor shape.

These days, I'm looking at some extra income generation from internet marketing, and hopefully learning some new strategies to help increase business to my other enterprises.

puns aside, sounds like you have some budget to start with and the will to actually not give up after a week, so you may want to try your hand at SEO if you don't mind waiting for results.

edit: before buying anything (and specially backlinks) check the reviews. and i don't mean the reviews from accounts from 2010 that have 5 messages in the last 11 years, those are worthless and possibly fake. check the reviews from real accounts, and especially VIP accounts. i would say, don't pay much attention to the initial reviews, services change. the more recent and the more active the account leaving the review, the better. if in doubt, you can PM recent buyers and ask them how was the buying experience. most wouldn't mind giving you an honest answer in private.

Thank you, I just went through all of these and they're very helpful! Funny enough, I've inadvertently followed a lot of these steps on our current sites just by providing guides, value, advice, etc.. I'm really interested in the Bing side of things, it never occurred to me the level of user coming from that platform.

One of the things I'm scoping out is potential article writing services for a mental health therapy practice. My spouse owns a group practice, and we've seen some success but would like to generate more content to attract clients, rank better in results, etc..
