For the past months, I focus on some projects on Bing, 1 get success and I realize is better then Google and it's pretty simple, especially if you focus on ads:

  1. Bing users are the most novice on the internet, they do not have the experience to install Chrome/Firefox, and so on, so internet explorer comes preinstalled with Bing as the main search engine.
  2. Once you rank in Bing, the odds to go down in searches are pretty low.
  3. Bing allows you to index yourself site pages by time, actually, they invite you to do it via API.
  4. Bing, Yahoo, and the rest of the subdivisions have almost the same algorithm, you rank in 1, you rank on all.
  5. Bing users do not have AdBlock, at least in my case about 90-95% of them do not, which is rarely on Google, not to talk about the others.
  6. Because they are not much familiar with the internet, they do not bounce quickly but search carefully in that specific page = more visibility = more CPM

I guess the same criteria apply for Ads, but this is not my area of expertise.

I hope someone will find it useful.
Good luck!

You're absolutely spot on.
Unlike many people here, I try to rank on Bing as well.

From what i've read over the years, people find bing users convert better.

Also, bing users are older people with more money. Do you really care about youngsters with a fiver in the pocket visiting your page? Not really. What about a lady in her 50's looking for advice to buy a cute cat and you run a website about cats.

How do we get to number 1 on Bing?

That’s a good point, however, if they are old people, will they know how to order/buy something online?
What kind of niches do you think would work better for that market?

And one more thing I would like to Add "Bing is Easier to Rank" For the same keyword I am ranked #1 while on Google its on Page #4
Absolutely right. Write proper title, keywords tag, Meta description and well optimized content with the certain amount of links and you can easily rank on Bing.
And one of the tedious task to explain your client why you are ranking 1st in the Bing and 4th page in Google.:anyway:

The bing bot has been crawling many of my sites the past couple of days for some reason, hopefully this means my ranking on bing should be improving.

Exactly, it is very easy to rank on BING and Bing users research above is really good.

Very good share. I have been so focused on google. Will need to diversify

Bing is easier to rank on but some how I don’t rank on bing

Thanks for the share. I never thought about Bing being used by novice users.

Coming from the newsletter.
I don't agree. I think all those points are weak reasons, except the conversion (if it's true)
Why? Because the traffic is too low
Like Yahoo or other search engines, they are dead. It's not worth it to put effort to rank there. Tried several keywords and countries, no difference. Google has 1000000x more traffic than bing
