Bing is better then Google and I'll explain you why!

For the past months, I focus on some projects on Bing, 1 get success and I realize is better then Google and it's pretty simple, especially if you focus on ads:

  1. Bing users are the most novice on the internet, they do not have the experience to install Chrome/Firefox, and so on, so internet explorer comes preinstalled with Bing as the main search engine.
  2. Once you rank in Bing, the odds to go down in searches are pretty low.
  3. Bing allows you to index yourself site pages by time, actually, they invite you to do it via API.
  4. Bing, Yahoo, and the rest of the subdivisions have almost the same algorithm, you rank in 1, you rank on all.
  5. Bing users do not have AdBlock, at least in my case about 90-95% of them do not, which is rarely on Google, not to talk about the others.
  6. Because they are not much familiar with the internet, they do not bounce quickly but search carefully in that specific page = more visibility = more CPM

I guess the same criteria apply for Ads, but this is not my area of expertise.

I hope someone will find it useful.
Good luck!
I think now days google is only focusing on money - other search engines are focusing on quality

Thanks for sharing great idea I will try to rank sites on bing.

Coming from the newsletter.
I don't agree. I think all those points are weak reasons, except the conversion (if it's true)
Why? Because the traffic is too low
Like Yahoo or other search engines, they are dead. It's not worth it to put effort to rank there. Tried several keywords and countries, no difference. Google has 1000000x more traffic than bing
According to Netmarketshare, and Ahrefs itself, Google has a a worldwide market share of about 73%. In the US, its share is about 65% (numerous sources), while Bing/Yaho's is about 33%, with the other search engines making up 2%. So I would say the individual graphic stats from Ahrefs are understating the usage of Bing, while overstating Google's.

Ok. But how you rank in a google safe way? I checked the serp on bing and saw lots of domains ranking due to keyword in domain name, or domains with rich links profiles not ranking in google. (Maybe because the poor ux).
Imo by building exact match anchor backlinks you could rank for your target kw, but we know that google doesnt like that. So?

I see a few folks doubting why they ought to rank in Bing. Let me ask the opposite question, why not?

Nobody is asking you not to rank on Google. But if you can add Bing to it - do you seriously mind whatever additional traffic you get? If you do not care about it, do me a favor - set up a filter on your website, do all your SEO and keep your Google traffic to yourself, and redirect the Bing traffic to me. I would certainly keep that additional traffic - costs me nothing extra (assuming that the Google-aimed SEO has also managed to rank it on Bing), but can earn me money! Lolz!

Google started before Bing so it got a way bigger head start. It’s also possible that Google presents more relevant results when people search then when they search on Bing. Interestingly enough, Bing tried to force people to use their search engine by having it load up automatically on desktop computers.

You are so right about this.
Bing is also much easier to rank on.
I have several page 2 ranks on Google, but the same sites are on top of the first page on Bing and Duckduckgo and such.
Ads on Bingads are also much cheaper than in Google ads.
Google is the big dog, but there are many smaller and cuter dogs out there also.

Great post and good info for those who are not using Bing and the other search engines out there.

Bing rank really easy and when google update his algorithm then my rank is dropped

Bing and google are like linux and windows. Everybody knows that linux et further better than windows. But windows dominates the market.
