    Hey there fellow BHW members.
I was told to put this thread in the lounge so here I am trying to warn you about this so called survey website.
(P.S: English is not my native tongue so please excuse me for any grammatical mistakes)

I was not going to put up such a thread since nothing really happened at first. But you will read why I still made this thread...

    Backstory:
So, a few months ago I started doing CPA, PPC and such websites. You can still find my journey on this forum somewhere.
Anyway, after a while reading I found FileIce and got accepted. Figuring out how things worked on the website was pretty easy and figuring out what you may and may not upload was as well.
After uploading my first file I had a very hard time getting my first download... Hell, even the first click was very very hard. I started reading on how to get clicks and downlaods and finally I had my first download which brought me $0.70!!!
Some weeks passed by and I made a total of around $20 bucks with downloads. Looking at the different download payrates I found out that french payments paid alot more than others (about $18 per download).
I started targeting the French market and made a niche in it. I obviously did not get alot of download, but after a few days I finally had one. One french $18 bucks download was in and I gota total of $40 bucks (Some usa ones etc as well). I started getting one french download in about 3-4 days, so after a while I had a total of $70 on only french downloads and $30 bucks on USA and others.
I stopped marketing myself to review when the payments were processed and when they were approved, and did so for about a week (until payment approving).

    Here is where it started.
I went to sleep two days before the payments got approved and I was excited to see $100 dollars coming my way in a few days... Too bad that didn't turn out on what I hoped...
Waking up the next morning I checked my mail, any phonecalls and my texts. Going into the browser and logging into FileIce... Wait, what? I couldn't log in anymore because they were accusing me of a thing called "Offer fraud".
I did not know why they would accuse me of something like this, since I never did such a thing! I always placed my surveys withing the rules and I never downloaded one of my own surveys!
Convinced they must have made a mistake I wrote a polite email asking them if they please could remove my ban since there was probably a mistake...
In between now and then has been 4 weeks without me getting a mail regarding my email to them. Nothing, nothing at all! Not even a mail saying "Your wrong, we are right".
In my opinion this is merely disgusting since they accuse me of something I never did and they don't send me an email over the issue as well. Deciding that FileIce was just a scam and they probably just banned me for having a low income for the last week, giving them a free $100 bucks, I decided to let the matter rest(after about 2 weeks sending the first mail).

Now then, the reason I am still making this thread... Today I checked my mailbox and I saw a mail from a FileIce admin, "Oh great, they finally took some time to send me an answer!", I thought.
Looking into the email this is what I found:
The admin send me a spam email saying some words about some dude making $400 bucks in a week, he included a link which he wanted me to click. I did not click the link, but decided to put it through a scanner first... The link was a link to a website that would track my location and IP adress.

I immediately disgusted FileIce and I now know for sure FileIce is a scam website for the low income.

Luckily I found another CPA website that I am still using on autopilot. FileIce is DONE for me.

It is your choice to believe me or not, but I can tell you that what I am telling you is the truth. I know people here have and are making big money on FileIce, but I am telling you my experience with it.

I don't know why he would trace me either. Maybe to bann me for the future? I don't know. I do know that he wants to trace me for a reason. Dude, be mistaken and jumping to conclusion?? No way, tracing someone against their will, in a hidden link, is complete FRAUD.

Hey. I am not sure if that is forbidden on this forum? To like, 'recommend' a network.
I will send it to you if I know if it is legal though :)

Sure you can recommend as long as you don't fool people saying to join a network because of blah blah blah when in reality the network is owned by you.

I'm not really sure what really happened to you. When I joined Fileice, I received such a ban within two weeks, yet I haven't gave up and explained them nicely, same as you. On top of that, when the 'nice explanation' didn't worked out as they didn't believed me, I haven't started a thread on BHW complaining about them being a scam or flamming towards them, but I delivered them a lot of PROOF that I didn't do anything shady, instead I provided more details regarding what could possibly be the cause of what lead to my ban. My ban has been lifted, and I got paid numerous times by them without any problems.

So, eventually you got a reply (which you haven't explained more precisely what that really was about) but you didn't continued to help yourself further into a discussion.

Scanner..? Kid, have you thought what would be the reason behind all this? Is it really that hard to figure out why FI admin wanted to know your IP/location without you knowing it? Was it maybe because he was trying to see if you completed your own offers? Or who knows.. at least he was checking for something and you have something to hide. But I don't even believe this story.. yet who knows..

Sure.. now let's all ask where you moved out because we're all going to move there..

Hope you got some of the sarcasm dropped, but in a way, I am trying to help you. If you really want that account back, fight for it.

But we all know that this is a negative reputation marketing scheme... draw attention by using a big network, fuchs with it, offer alternative... right OP & 1337phyton? Both joined Jun 2013... oh, what a coincidence..

Wow you can get information anywhere can't you?
    8+2-4 = 6 6/2= 3. You just confirmed Half Life 3!

But seriously now, are you saying 1337python and me are the same person? You are so wrong. You draw conclusion too quickly.
Besides this, you stay awfully nice to FileIce while they bann you after two weeks without you doing something wrong... Seems too strange to me.

You probably did not read my first post too well since then you would know what I did.

Yeah I got a reply. A scam email is what I got, it was a hidden link that tries to track the location of where you are.

Sorry, but first your calling me kid and then you actually try to talk the spamlink that tries to track me WITHOUT ME KNOWING into something good? Seriously man.

You should let your ego away of this, and don't mind me talking about you having 2 accounts, maybe I'm just paranoid, my bad.

What I simply don't understand is how come the admin is sending you a scam email? Would be really curious about that hiddenlink.. yet I don't know why you freak out just in case he wanted to see your real IP; didn't he already knew your real IP when you were checking your account? Have you sent him a repy?

Anyway, I'm out of this. Do whatever you want, it's your thread, sorry to spoil it for you.

Lol, fileice is not a scam. Till date I have been paid $28,000+ from Fileice. I've been registered in Fileice for about a year.

Your situation might be a misunderstanding, and I bet your first email to the admins wasn't polite, though that is something that you're never going to tell us.

Why would the owner try to get your IP when you was already signed up to the website which probably already logs your IP on registration/login?

I don't have any input on your situation but I can tell you that Fileice is not a scam. I've been with them for over 8 months and got paid every single time.

I had seen a lot of methods and people talking about FileIce recently and was thinking of giving it a shot. So thanks for the heads up, I guess I can look elsewhere.

Of course, they want to keep the big income people. because they generate alot of money from them.
In my case, I did not do marketing for days until the amount processing, so I did not generate alot of money. That is probably the reason I got banned, still don't see why though.

Thank you for your confidence, and yes, my email was actually polite. Assuming it was not, is your mistake.

I won't be checking this thread often since I just wanted to warn others for this kind of business. I will check once in a while.

Fileice is a very dodgy company. Stay away from them at all costs.
