Hi guys,im running a local business located on new york, long island. My site is running wordpress is faster than all my competitors, mobile responsive 99/100 score, well optimized for on page seo, i have builded citations/business listings regarding my niche,i did off page seo too,my da is 35 my pa is 45. Now the problem is that my site is affected by "google dancing" my target keywords was ranking 1 month ago top 30/top40 but problem is that right now my rankings got dropped and are not being found at all, i have not received any penalty i have disavowed my bad links 3 weeks ago (all of them) after i have disavowed i builded up more quality backlinks (sure for that) now all i want to figure out is why my website is ranking just for 6 keywords while my competitor have same domain age while he is ranking for 68 keywords without creating any backlinks or citations at all. Is this because my website is dynamic while most of my competitors use static html site...if anyone would help me i would really appreciate!

Same thing happened to me and as of yesterday my page is back on page 1. My ranking for that page was dancing around too. I just waited it out and it came back.

Check if the urls are being indexed by google using: "site:FULL URL" without quotes of course.

I should probably go update my post about this same situation.

Goodluck

Shoot me out the website and I could tell you what is wrong :)

I rank on first page on bing and yahoo for several keywords including my main keywords some of them are top10 and my main keywords rank 1st, i use webmaster tool as well to optimize my pages and i have good optimization on pages regarding keywords i need to rank for using yoast seo, all my pages are indexed by google..

Thank you.

your site has no trust and no trusted links....just some forum spammy links according to majestic. perhaps you disavowed the links that were supporting it.

I would do a high quality press release (not $5, but 50-$200) and then pbn links...perhaps a few quality guest post links, perhaps some industry links from yelp, houz and similar sites.

from what I see in majestic, good off page seo has not been performed.

1. Check for any spam message from Google in Web Console.
2. Might have broken pages or links in the site.
3. Use some analytics tools like SEMrush or Ahref to identify the core of the issue

I think this domain lacks authority links pointing to it. You ought to get some premium .edu, .gov, premium guest posts, niche guest posts, parasite links and check on some other local seo factors you may have been missing out on. If you need more guidance, please feel free to add me up on Skype @ ( content.shark)

I think you should wait, your ranking will increase. Sometimes crawler take longer than expected to came back to your site to crawl it. In the mean time you build more ***good quality links****. And don't forget to cache it.

After you disavowed did you have Google scan and reindex? Just a suggestion sometimes that helps kick start the things you fixed. You also should make sure you selected USA as your country.

my target keywords was ranking 1 month ago top 30/top40 but problem is that right now my rankings got dropped and are not being found at all

I don't know about which keywords or locations you are talking (you have a lot of duplicated page based on Zip code and city names), but i tried to find your websites with your main location + service (roofing in Center Moriches) and you are on 3rd position with 3 five star reviews.

So my suggestion is to work with your website (offsite and onsite SEO), fix the errors (you have www and w/www links) duplicate content, technical seo, fix phone number links (<a href="tel://1-631-400-9530" tit) , and a lot of staff ... all this is big issue for Local seo, but together it can hurt your rankings

Also decide which location is your priority - according to your footer you are trying to rank in different cities, but have only 1 GBM location.

Good luck !

Resubmit your sitemap on Google console. Then check your crawling status and check again.

Definitely, it will clear if you have good off page SEO.

Disavow files don't actually work and the Google algorithm doesn't respect them, at least not anymore. If anything, I have seen that it has pushed some websites to actually getting a manual link review action.

As others have said, your off-page SEO is hurting your site more than anything. If Google sees many "spammy" or bad links there is a possibility they will conduct a manual link review which will hurt your ranking potential. If you're looking for quick citations for your local business you can always seek services like Yext, Manta, etc. It costs some money but it's a quick way to get your business information out there and being consistent. Otherwise do as others have said and put in some effort into your outreach.

Since you're in the construction industry - trade shows and networking can be a good way to get your brand and website out there. Spend some money and be a sponsor of local events.

As a local company reviews are pretty critical to your success. Run a review campaign with your clients to generate reviews on Google My Business, Facebook, etc. Make sure you have your social media secured and active. If Google can see you're a well rated company, credible with backlinks, credible with content, involved in social, etc... they will rank you near the top of the SERPs.

Another quick tip, make sure your content on your website is optimized for local if that is truly your target. Many local businesses fail at targeting the correct audience with their content and website structure.
