Hi someone posted a hurtful vid about my uncle on YouTube and under obvious keywords it ranks #3 on first page of google. Please is there any methods i can can use to help push it down SERPS or have it taken off all together? Would really appreciate any good advice... Thnks.

A video needs 3 flags ( from different IPs ) and it's taken down.
Anyway, it will be hard to stop uploading it over and over again.

What you're looking for is reputation management. Create many websites about your uncle saying positive things and do SEO on them to get them to rank higher than the vid.

youtube is against such video and you can take it down easily, it takes less than 24 hours normally
use the Report function under the video
Report this video -> Hateful or abusive content -> Abusing vulnerable individual / Bullying

Wrong. Videos are reviewed manually, try to flag gagnam style from 3 IPs to see what happens besides not getting removed.

YouTube has an official report process - simply follow that. I did it for a friend but it took a while for the video to be removed and longer still for it to be deindexed. Report it and, if you like, give it the thumbs down (if you do it more than once use a different IP with another YT account).
If it really is a video about your uncle, get your other family members to down-vote the video from their homes. Try to avoid obsessively checking the video page, though, you don't want to give it extra views. Good luck.
