Help on what to do next for my blog.

Hello I run a small blog, its a one man operation so I can get distracted working on a million different things. Anyway I have been reading this forum for a while and I was hoping to get some tips on ways to improve or make more money off this Blog. Thank you it currently gets about 200 views a day.

If you want to increase your views, try to narrow down your content to a specific subject. Take a look at all of your blogs, and see which ones have the most views and stick to that kind of content.

Also, try to produce content that will be relevant to the readers in the future. What I mean by this is, for example, writing about the best classic movies rather than writing about this year’s MTV music awards.

Encourage your viewers to leave comments on your blog. Or even better, ask them to leave some suggestions about what you should write next. That way you’ll get a better idea of what your readers are looking for, and engage the audience.

You should make sure that you have a niche that is needed on the internet.

I'm in the same boat here, but with far less views. I've started focusing on Q&A blogs for popular questions relevant to my site's industry and geography. Have been getting some traction that way. Did a content audit of my site to delete blogs no longer relevant to my site or it's refined blog purpose. Also found about 12 blogs (out of 200+) that would be good to recast as Q&A blogs. Working on that for the last couple of weeks.
