Longtime lurker, first time poster here. I currently have a picture-based blog that gets about 1000 page views a day, on average. Most of my traffic is from SEO, a little from social media. The blog is about 4 months old. The theme of the blog is 'hot girls' but with a twist. I currently use a couple different methods to monetize - Adsense, and affiliate offers (dating and Clickbank). I've probably made about $100 over the four month period in total - most from Adsense.
I seem to be stuck in a rut at this point. After 3 months of steady but small growth, I am now starting to see numbers fall - both in visitors and revenue. At one point I was on the bottom of page one on Google for one of my keywords, now I am on page 5. Suffice to say, I am starting to lose motivation, especially since this site was my first (in about 5 projects) to actually make profit and get traffic.
I know that picture/humor based blogs don't target well for sales or click conversion, but I was hoping someone here could offer some advice in the way of a method or tip that I could implement, in order to get my site back on track.
Not looking for any spoon-feeding, just some honest assistance from what seems to be, a helpful forum here at BHW. I'd be happy to offer more details about my site if needed, but hopefully my explanation helps.
