Help me remove malware from my site.

Hi all,

So yesterday I tried to run google ad on my site, but my ad got rejected saying it contained malicious or unwanted software.

After contacting Google support they have given me 2 links that is affecting my site.

Now the problem is how to find those links and remove them, I tried looking source code found nothing there. Please suggest method or plugins to remove those links.

You can try downloading your site files to your local pc via ftp. Then run a scan on your files with your current anti-virus/anti malware scanner and see if it detects the infected files. Usually it does and you can try and re-upload it again once it's clean.
 
The url looks like popunder or popup ads url PM me your site I will look into it. Mean while check whether you have installed any ads script on your website as well check nulled plugins if you installed any.

This won't work as normal malware and anti-virus scanners can't see a difference between malicious and normal php/javascript
 
First check all files, check .htacess file also.
Next check DB.

Lol. And this is what happens when you use nulled plugins and/or themes. They just inject their popads code into your site and make tons of revenue. Hope you learned your lesson.
 
you can start by using https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/ ..

if you use wordpress try installing wordfence https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/ or sucuri https://wordpress.org/plugins/sucuri-scanner/ and running scan on your wordpress core file, plugins and themes.

if you use nulled plugins, remove that ..

if you use popunder ads code, remove that code before apply for google adsense, adsense not allowed sites to have popunder .. for popups they allow 3 popups but with some restrictions ...

if you can't find and clean malware on your sites , then you only have 2 options :
1. pay some services / people to clean that for you ...
2. backup all your post/articles ( don't save any php or database only text based article and image that you use ), remove current website completely and start over with a new fresh website and restore your post/articles

I'm no expert, but that is what exactly what I did initially. Maybe it won't detect every single one but none at all? Are you sure?

When I scanned my downloaded files it listed a bunch of suspicious php files and js files. I then manually check each file/folder to see what files that aren't supposed to be there before I reuploaded it to my hosting server. Seemed to work at the time.
