Hey everyone,

first thing first, i would like to say, that i am totally newbie in website settings so i apologize if i ask you twice on same thing.

Thank you for understanding.

Recently i have bought domain at Godaddy (Included: .com Domain registartion + Full Domain Privacy and Protection + Private Domain Registration + Domain Ownership Protection + Website Security Basic - 1year + Office 365 Email essentials)
With some wordpress settings (Ultimate Managed WordPress Websites - 1 Month)

The question:
How do i transfer my http domain to https domain?
Do i have to pay something or is there any free solution?

As i said i have no idea what to do.
I have tried some wordpress plugin (Really Simple SSL) what didn't work.

I will sell stuff on my website (so if i understant it correctly, then i need the HTTPS - for secured payments)

I have tried one of their scan (screenshot):

If anyone can help me with some solution i would really appreciate it.

Have a nice day!
Filipo

just change dns in cloudflare and activate free https
Thank you for your reply sir,

May i ask if the free version is enough or should i go with one of those pay versions?

Free version of cloudflare is supported in all the browsers and it is good enough for a normal website. For ecommerce (if you need to integrate payment gateways) I recommend buying a paid one.

Thank you sir,

in the worst scenario i can change it, right?

You can use flexible SSL with cloudflare for no costs if you plan to enable Full https, you can download certificates from cloudflare and install it over your server - This will ensure secure connection between your server, cloudflare and clients.

Thank you sir for your reply!

May i ask if i do how @hottime40 & @Gogol recommended, i wont be able to use full HTTPS?
(i feel like old man asking how pc works, lol)
I don't get it. The free SSL is a fully featured SSL certificate like the paid one. If you want SSL in sub domains too, you will need a paid wild card SSL certificate (I'm almost certain that it can be done with cloudflare ssl too, but never tried it).

Thank you i wasn't sure of that.

So i have already did the Cloudflare SSL certificate,
It says i have to wait up to 24h, i let you updated if it worked or not.

Thank you all for your help ( :

1. You went a little bit wrong with using Godaddy, hawkhost would be a lot cheaper and better option
2. I would still suggest transferring to other hosting because most of the small hostings have free SSL
3. Don't use Cloudflare, it's slow as fuuuuuuck.
4. Still, suggest using other hosting.

Yeah kind of i know now that i am not going to use them again,
What hosting would you recommend me?

Hmm that could be an issue as they conttol everything on the name server level. For a site where loading time is not an issue, one could probably get away with that speed though.

*UPDATE*

I finally have the HTTPS but now my page doen't work lol (screenshot)
