[Help] Can't add paypal to fb ads, recent problem

Some of my friends including me are facing this problem.
Trying to add paypal as payment method on fb ads but paypal asks for card details.
On adding the card(linked to pp or different)details it does nothing, it still shows the same screen.

Fb accepts the card just fine.

Adding paypal to fb ads was working few months ago.

Now it's giving this problem.
Is this fb problem or paypal? It seems to be the paypal asking for the card, so it seems
like paypal problem.

Do you know how to resolve this?
Plz suggest.

now i never see this problem
i think problem is from paypal
 
Hello,
To solve this problem you first need to link Visa card with paypal then new to facebook to add payment method.
 
Paypal is already verified with card.
It's just that upon adding paypal to fb it again asks for card.
Even after entering the card details already linked to paypal or
different card, it does nothing. It keeps showing the same
screen.

No, I can't. That's why I am trying to use paypal as the payment method for facebook ads.

I want to use paypal for facebook ads.
 
the same problem with me i have ppl verified with mastercard and when i want to link it with fb ads they want me to add new credit card ..., anyone have a solution???????
 
Just simple, add first any credit card specifically if you have american express that will work fine and after that you can add paypal.
Then paypal will works fine.

Did that. FB takes the vcc just fine.
It's paypal again asking for the card and even after entering the card details, the screen remains the same.
 
okay, have you started bh ads or just created new acc?

No bh ads. I have some pages and you know fb just shows you boost option.
 
'Please add a credit or Visa Debit card to complete your purchase"
Why the fuck do they ask for cc again when it's already added?
 
yes, they already charged $1 on the card when adding card. card is already attached.

I've been just about pulling my hair out to get this to work. I've been running into similar issues linking my Paypal account to Gumroad and a couple other sites.



I found a solution for me that is really just a bandaid solution, but I think Paypal needs to fix the problem with Express Checkout.



I use Chrome and just tried using an addon called "Quick JavaScript Switcher" (or you could just disable JavaScript in your browser temporarily I guess).

When I got to that Paypal window I turned off JavaScript and it forced Paypal to go into what looks like a legacy mode, stating that some functions need JavaScript and it asked for a CAPTCHA then it went through to the confirmation page and everything worked as it should.


Now only try this if you're comfortable with it, but I'm just saying it worked for me and I'm relieved.

and in the end if this doesn't redirect you to facebook reactive javascript.

Let me know if it works for you.
 
I'm looking for the solution of this problem. I think the problem is in the browser.
