Hey guys ! I've finally decided to create my blog and monetize it. I'm not sure in what niche it would be but I'm sure it's gonna be about phones and tutorials and iphone shit and stuff like that.
Thing is I'm new to this i've never owned a blog before so I don't really know where to start, i've been reading journeys concerning blogs but I didn't get the " where to start".
So i'd like to know whether to create my blog with Wordpress or Weebly ?
I'm reading about SEO cause I'm gonna try to get organic traffic only since I don't have money to invest yet, I've read a journey in which the guy said that he got it all organic too, he just did researches on his keywords which helped ranking his blog.Im gonna create a FB and IG page and maybe Twitter too. I'm willing to monetize with Adsense once I start getting clicks.
Any guidance from you guys would be very welcome and appreciated
Sorry if I made any mistake guys I'm not a native English speaker
Thanks !

Are you planning on writing the content yourself , as in are you an expert in the topic surrounding your blog, or are you outsourcing it?

What kind of niche are you getting into, is it something like make money, health, finance, food, online marketing, etc(saturated niches that are hard to break into without OUTSTANDING CONTENT)?

Is this a small , specialized niche?

The platform weebly or wordpress doesn't matter much. Heck, I have my blog on the Ghost platform because I write everything now a days in Markdown. However, I wouldn't recommend Ghost to non technical people.

The most important thing is kw research then content. If you don't know how to do it, find a service provider

definitely go with Wordpress over Weebly

Wordpress is extremely customizable and very SEO friendly with plugins such as Yoast and all in one SEO pack etc

Just focus on getting content out there man and eventually the traffic will come.

Oh okay... I would be prepared to write a SHIT load of content and be willing to spend a lot of time investment in writing good content for the iphone niche. That niche is huge but it also has a lot of competition. You should be good as long as you persist, I would honestly think a good 6 months to 1 year of hard work and you should see some attainable results.

In another journey i've read that the guy wrote content then ran some tool to find out how many keywords are within his content, so i can still manage to write then check how many keywords i got, right ?

Wordpress is better. I advice is start building your content pillar and reaching out to other sites in your niches and offer them guest posts to build a good back link profile. It's very important that your content must be helpful to your audience and SEO optimized.

thank you for mentionning that . What's a backlink profile ? I read that a lot in journeys, from what i've understood backlinks are links to your blog that you post in articles that you write for other blogs as guests, correct me if I'm wrong

That's right. The more back links you got ,the better your site ranking will be. Back links from big sites in your niche will affect your ranking very much and also drive alot of traffic to your site amd make your site look authentic and credible in visitors eye

Sure I'll try that once I have a decent amount of articles on my blog
Do you run a blog of your own ?
