Had this great idea while I was at U2's concert at Croke park last month.
You know the way Bono asks people to hold up their phones during the concert. I thought this would would be a great opportunity for some CPA offers.
Bear with me.
Create a short video advertising your CPA ringtone offer with your CPA url appearing somewhere in the video.
You could throw in U2 music video clips etc be creative. You could even leave instructions telling them to pass this video on to their friends.
Put this video on your phone.
Name your phone Bono, U2 or One Campaign and throughout the concert send this video out to as many people as you can via bluetooth!
So people are going to be holding their phone up and will feel it vibrate or light up brighter and they will think it's part of the show when they see it's from bono!! :callyou:
This has not been tried by me (but is truly avantgarde!) but may be an opportunity for those of you who will be attending their 360 tour over the coming year! You might even make the price of the concert ticket back!!
There has to be at least somebody on this forum who will be going to a U2 concert between now or next year or someother major outdoor gigs. I'd imagine music festivals would convert well!?
