so guys i setup a transferwise account and im unable to put gbp into it or even usd.
because now transferwise require you to actually add atleast 20 gbp to get the banking details.
i tried putting money through my middle east debit/credit card
then i tried payoneer but nothing seems to work it keeps on giving an error. i dont know how i can activate it and is it possible to use transferwise gbp bank with shopify payments since i registered for a UK LLC.
thanks any help is appriciated.
one more thing: people from UK/EUROPE why do you guys use stripe instead of shopify payments since shopify payments let you checkout on the same page?

For other people reading this. This is my answer from this thread : https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/paying-ads-with-transferwise.1222892/page-2

"How exactly did it not work ? Try converting from USD to GBP in Payoneer. Open a GBP balance in Transferwise, and send 20 GBP from Payoneer to that Transferwise GBP balance. That should work.

Otherwise get screenshot(s) of the error(s) you get and send them to Payoneer/Transferwise when you contact them. Good Luck."

Edit :
You can use Transferwise with Shopify Payments, but many people don't recommend that. Instead you should use Monzo or TIDE. (Monzo can be used with Paypal too and is a recommended option for Shopidy Payments, don't know for TIDE)

Hope that helps.

Even though been using this card for so many years now and got enough money in it im just stressed now since ive spent 15 hours looking for a solution

Yea these "weird" obstacles happen sometimes, just have all your info and screenshots ready and contact Payoneer and/or Transferwise.

Keep us updated here how it goes. I'm sure it will benefit a lot of future readers. Good Luck.

I'll repeat myself from other thread but just in case others may see this here as well: Stripe allows you to checkout within the same Shopify checkout page without the need to be redirected to the payment provider page!

There is a chance that your bank and Payoneer does not allow a deposit to Transferwise. I have a US Transferwise account, and I can't withdraw from Paypal to my Transferwise card or account. Same with a bank account I have with a Credit Union here. I can't deposit money to Transferwise using that bank card because the bank does not allow it. I know, because I had to call and ask.
