Hi everyone!
Just thought I should introduce myself. I've known about BHW for quite some time. Just came back to it recently after quite a few years away and my god, the amount of information on here is amazing.
Quick context, I've been in the 'Legacy' cannabis industry for over 20 years now. It's pretty crazy to think that it's been that long.
Being slightly more techie inclined over most people and I mean 'slightly'. Has led me to always be 'that guy' when anything computer or technical related is required. I've always had a interest in graphics but was not a natural artist so creating my own art was never an option for me. I did teach myself Illustrator and Photoshop from YouTube University and even became pretty decent. To the point that people within the industry started asking me to help with logos and bag designs.
What really boosted my demand was the introduction of ai image/video generators such as midjourney, dall-e, ideogram, firefly, runway, minimax, etc. I took the time to learn how to use them and have been using those tools to take my designs to a whole new level. Not to mention, opening up other doors such as being asked to manage an entire brand's socials, website, marketing. I am not proficient with website creation or marketing but I've been able to learn everything else on my own and to a better standard than most of competitors IMO lol.
Fast forward to today....I now have a handful of clients and decided that it's time to start my own SMMA (Social Media Marketing Agency for those that don't know).
I'm thinking of documenting my journey but don't really know what to document. Maybe it'll be more of a journal through my journey as a first time SMMA owner.
