Has anyone had success with faking it before making it?

I'm curious to see if people have grew instagram pages successfully starting with fake likes and followers, then botting to get real followers and engagement. I know a lot of people start with 1k fake followers on botting accounts but I'm thinking more 10k followers or more.

Or do you think this just causes problems with getting a good ratio of real engagement down the line, thoughts?

yes the people that are unexperienced start with fake followers, true

the people with experience work with real followers .

2 real followers will benefit your account vs 1000 fake followers .

The more fake followers you have the worser your account

When you make a post , Instagram shows it to 10% of your followers, since your followers are ghostfollowers you will NEVER, NEVER reach the top post.

i did that with my e-commerce fun page on facebook , it fucked up my fb ad pixel ..

If you want to fuck up your engagement stats and make your IG page irrelevant then go ahead with fake likes and followers. IG is similar to FB in terms of niching down your page's core interests.

Dude fake media are good only for black hat niches..if you are doing shopify or something, never buy fake media.

Thanks for the replies guys! I've not purchased any fake followers so I'm just going to grow slow and steady. I'm hoping once I get good engagement I can use sfs with bigger pages. Is using an account on your phone (that is also being botted) a bad idea?

I'd say it's also good for local businesses that don't want to compete in the Instagram game and just want to have a good social media presence. In that case, having 7,000 fake followers with a polished account and a realistic number of fake likes on each profile can build a mighty social presence for local businesses.

The problem with fake followers is that they are fake and serve no purpose other than a presentation. Infact, it also kills your engagement ratio.

Faking it until you make it IS the standard not just for IG but for Youtube and others

Twitter is especially vulnerable to that

I suggest doing it manually though

I couldn't agree more! if we don't talk IM, i can find you a bunch of advantages of having fake followersr/likes..ect

No, it's okay! I have 5 accounts logged in on my phone while they are running on GMT2. no issue so far.

I tried this, dint help at all..In fact when my engagement got so bad I had let go of the accounts.

So this only is bad if it's fake followers?? How does it make sense with fake likes though?? Wouldn't that be less obvious if Your botting to actually get real followers and you get around 80-100 Followers a day?? I would think the people that follow you when botting would not know the difference.

Hmm.

It'll only work if your content is good enough for real people to engage with as well. I'd give it a small bump, otherwise people can see that it's a bogus account based on # of followers and # of likes/comments on the posts.
