It sucks to live in but could be alright to visit.
The hike up Mount Batur is great.
Ubud in general is nice and green, if you can tolerate the vegan yoga crowd. I found an amazing AirBNB for $30/night when I went last year that literally had a view of a waterfall in the greenery in Ubud.
If the ocean is your thing, Uluwatu is where the surfers live. Also where I used to live. But if you make it past Amed (very few do - its 2 hours drive at minimum) it's awesome ocean and water related activities + authentic Balinese Hindu locals. Most of the foreigners in Amed are divers, there is good diving to be had - just the shore dive off the wall was amazing.
Sanur has lots of brothels and cheap hookers. There are good adult spots in Kuta and Seminyak too. Delta spa used to be great but service levels have gone down when I last went last year, but they revamped the whole place and decor- it's Moroccan/Arab themed now. Swell in Seminyak is a great gentleman's spa too.
If you go to Bali, you might as well go to the Gilis. Gili Air is an experience, and Gili T is great if you want to party with young western girls.
In Gili Air you can have magic mushroom shakes in every bar and when you think there is a horse racing down the street, it really is a horse because that's what they use as taxis.
