Guest Posts Still Work! - But Only If You Do This

I’ve seen many people spend good money on guest posts but still no results. The reason? They just put the link anywhere without checking the site.
Always make sure the site is real, has traffic, and the content looks natural.
Before placing a link, I always ask myself, If I was a normal user, would I click this link? If not, even Google won’t care.
Have you ever felt the same? Got any such experience?

It is part of common sense for those who are into SEO or were into SEO. But yeah, good point for newbies.

This kind of makes sense if we think about it.
 
Of course, everyone buys links based on these criteria. Most buyers nowadays ask for the sites first to verify everything before placing an order.

This has always been my very simple rule.

It's sad that in 2025 people still place undue relevance on things like DA and PA when there are better pointers to the quality of a website.
 
Effectively there are many fake sites only made to sell backlinks, so do your due diligence before pulling the trigger.

I think even with genuine and good guest post links, some domains may just no behaves without apparent reasons.
 
Absolutely blindly placing links on low-quality or irrelevant sites is a waste of money and can even hurt SEO. Relevance, traffic, and natural integration are key. Always link like a real user would. Have you found any strategies that actually worked well for you
 
Dont forget, would also be a very good plus if the website that guestposting is from the same nish
 
Absolutely link placement should feel natural and add value if it doesn’t engage real users, it likely won’t impress Google either.
 
I’ve definitely seen this guest posts are useless if the site isn’t trustworthy or relevant.
 
I’ve made the mistake of placing links without checking the site, and it didn’t move the needle.
 
Guest posts still work if they are on relevant, high quality sites and provide valuable, well written content.
