Got paid and got no rush

He could be a scientist or do some sports. Plus meet some cool ppl.

I would do this if I had too much money.
He was in Finance. But still my idea is retirement in general doesn't work well if one wants be alive on the inside and keep the testosterone burning.

My grand father worked till 88. He was a banker and still went around, did consulting work after his 60s he couldn't sit around the house doing nothing. He worked even 3 days before his death. He died peaceful and instant without any ventilator at 88. My grandmother cooked her own food till she was 86 and she lived alone. She preferred being independent. .

One can only travel and meet different people till a point. After that it gets boring when there is no balance. Work life balance is a 2 way thing. Only life and no work is also not very good.

I don't like NOT working on simple things and things that I like.

I hate working on very complex things that pay kinda mediocre like engineering for software companies.

If I had to work on someone's stuff that is complex only I would rather count on retirement. But happily I can work on my stuff too. Or if not my stuff, I can do simple labor.

I had a period few years ago when I was working for startup projects. And it was the worst experience of my work life.

People told me it's like affiliate marketing just better. None of that was true. It was 100 timee worse than affiliate marketing.

In general when you work for someone else you don't get paid much. But if you find a work around to offer it as a freelancer offering the same service you make 2-4x based on how you project yourself.

But yes I love challenges too. I constantly put myself in new places/industry, get uncomfortable. It keep my mind young. You can still put yourself in challenges.

And yes my idea of retirement was to not do anything, work related.

I work 3-6 hours a day now.

Robbing a bank could yield such a high ROI. Try that next time. Jk.
We need an angel investor. Maybe you're one, Heiko! We want to get burned!

I'd rob some angel investors. A person I worked for wanted to do that.

For every day I get a rush when I look at my income and the result is good.
I don‘t have the urge to spend it right away but it is a great feedback loop of what I do.

You will definitely feel the rush when you use that money to buy a plane ticket to japan and live in an internet cafe for some time.

Cyber homeless at 7 figures? Interesting approach. I'm sure gonna try it.

Only feeling anxiety when attempting to spend.

Feeling relief working.

Them producers put things for consumerism - production equation backwards.

Consumers be like: consumption 80%, production 20% (job for someone).
Producers be like production 80%, consumption 20% (to fuel brain and body).

Applying the famous "crazy rule" which I couldn't understand as a kid but it was well presented by Tim Ferris in "4 hour work week" book.

Turns out a black hatter should put 80% of their income back in business and allocate about 20% capital to savings and their daily life needs.

This rule won't work in every area of life and you need to find things where such a split will work.

The fact someone split something for themselves that way, doesn't mean that their 80/20 rule will work for you. It's personal.

You need to find your own 80/20 rules in your life.

At one point we should have decent net worth allowing us to use only 1% - 3% of our income for our needs.

With „crazy rule“ do you mean the pareto principle?
The principle applies to itself so in the end you get that 1% gives 51% results.

$50 per day. :)

It doesn't matter as it's white hat money so it's kinda easy to get to $150 per day in matter of a year or two.

$50 black hat usd are better than $500 white hat usds. The feelings... I think they won't happen though as I'm not 16 anymore.

But if you focus on black hat too hard, you're gonna go down to zero. Simply because there will be no way to bounce back if black hat trick fails

Being 85 kg I can't afford doing $5 per day amymore. I wish I could get by on that money again..

When I had $50 back then it would be party non stop. Today? Barely can afford food...

Will I have to emigrate permanently soon as victim of oppression or not? We will see.
One random idea for you. If you think enough about it, it makes sense. If not, just a random idea on BHW, there are millions.
You are a programmer. Do you have a friend that has zero clue about WTH is HTML or JavaScript? Take that friend and solve one of his problems via programming. I don't know, scheduling app, weather, food, whatever.
No money required . Just ask for feedback and them sharing your stuff with others.

Come back to this post if you need advice on how to monetize it.

No, multifaceted cook that uses technology.

Code:
var mt = new MersenneTwister(1),
                i = 0;

            for (; i < expected.length; ++i) {
try{             expect(mt.int()).toBe(expected[i]);
} catch (denial) {
moveOn(denial);
}
            }
Well

Why you paste random pieces of personal code here?

This and previous thread attracted so much sarcasm and salesmen I can't believe lol.

I'm a bot, sometimes bots give away their source code. So, you caught salesmen , sarcasmers and also bots in your thread.

Interesting how that works isn't it, I've been paid over 6 figures in a day and had very little dopamine rush from it. I just went to sleep afterwards. I quote i often think about is “It's not the destination, it's the journey” by - Ralph Emerson

Wow. It's the goal definitely. And then I'd smoke crack to extend rush.

I lifted heavy reps on weight and got rush. So now I prefer this to payments.

Interesting how some guys look like sticks and lift 200 kg x3. I think they skip dinner often.

People don't know how to eat. I could become wealthy just teaching how to eat. It's a nice niche.

Maybe I'll try some eating coach SaaS. The niche is spammy as everyone needs this.

funny enough the following months were the most depressed i was ever was in my entire life. My motivation dropped off a clip no more gym and turned to gaming and smoking weed everyday for at least 6 months. I know (hopefully) crack part is sarcastic but when you do make your big pay day stay away from drugs just my two cents,.

100% agree on the weights i remember in college being in the best shape ever hitting a deadlift pr/ bench pr would have you feeling on top of the world. versus when i start my business during the same time when i got paid it was just another day really.

I get higher off work than drugs because drugs replace your emotions with other ones. And I have strong emotions sober so no need for drugs. I mostly drank alcohol for 6 years on weekends. But it was pointless..

Drugs don't satisfy any needs. They only cause oxidative stress and comedown.

Satisfy real needs and you won't get depressed.

Drugs like pharmaceuticals are better cause they work longterm

Best drugs are love and emotions related to optimism and trust.

Weed is the most useless drug I ever used. Just straight exaggerating and overthinking for me. As if i didn't have enough of it daily

AnimeAllOut or AllOutAnime is the player. He says gym 6 times a week and limit carbs. I think the same. Just for me it's that I prefer little bit more carbs (around 40%) after dinner and later.

If you want to play everyday, you need to do everyday. It's not gym 3 times a week. That's not enough for serious players. If you think about results in gym, it's a mistake. You need to think of "feel good hormones" which daily gym will cause. It just doesn't happen if you do 3 times a week. The routine doesn't kick in.
