Got paid and got no rush

I spent $8 for a pizza as I was starving yesterday and had no energy to visit store for meat.

Now I got influx of ideas...
  • Buy that monitor - you need that!
  • Rush writing your program! You need to make money asap!!!
  • Buy 50 energy drinks - you can't live without it.
  • Pay for the hosting that you don't use! You're gonna make big $.
  • Ride only taxi! You can't use bus anymore!
For now only this, but I'll write down more.

Interesting movies they produced back then.

I had to make this thread as last month I spent $700 for foods and drinks. It could've been 1/3rd of that.

If I don't develop a plan, I'll go broke again in 2 weeks.

Edit, new ones:
  • get new haircut,
  • buy a suit similar to profile picture,
  • buy bottled water,
  • don't take care of spendings at workplace. So neglect is also present...,
  • buy phone case for more than $5.
Controllin'.

Also similar to money, but for time waste:

  • learn complex technology that can be easily skipped at the time and later outsourced,
  • follow trends,
  • don't think yourself,
  • don't do research,
  • implement pointless things,
  • create SaaS instead of things you can use yourself,
  • don't plan foods,
  • take immediate action with regards to spendings other than rational planning,
  • not taking care of mental health,
  • working super hard for small gains. Think of SEO on 0 backlinks or unscalable websites with automation,
  • skipping meals and not eating enough calories which causes stress,
  • not hitting gym 6 times a week,
  • working for idiots (lol),
  • write too many personal thoughts in someone's thread.

THESE DID COST ME A TON

Exactly, getting paid don't give rush, spending money gives rush, it's a scientifically proven fact.
That rush that you use to get when you got paid was due to the fact that you were thinking about how you gonna spend the money.
It was never about getting paid but was always about how you gonna spend the money.
Now you know.

I remember that feeling when few k's hit my account over a span of a week.

I would get instant hit, rush to an online store, visit 20 stores in the city and immediately have $500 less.

I would feel like someone hit me with a hammer in my head. Then I would tell myself "nah, there are stronger feelings than this".

But I felt really strong cognitive dissonance.

That's like smoking cigs. You feel you're inhaling pure cancer. I can't stand this feeling, so I don't smoke. Only smoked couple packs as a teenager.

Now I got to think of my wallet like of my lungs. This set of acts is like cancer for my wallet.

I remember 6 years ago I was thinking "I need to motivate myself, so I have money for weed.". It was my goal back then. What the hell.

In the end I was just smoking it and getting thought loops with panic attacks about my misery, so I stopped.

My-self (self) thought it is some sort of a genius to make money at an early age. But then I was panicking about some people calling it unethical. Now I know they just presented themselves as innocent and turned out to be the same egocentric beings.

So now I can fully focus on black hattin' as it's in tact with my values.

Overnight*.
Now, I don't want to give you any ideas here,
but that's roughly the amount of cash that most banks keep on hand.

But seriously,
why not take some time for yourself and think of a good startup idea. You have the technical knowledge to start one.

I'm sure Poland has some startup contests/grants where you can participate in seed funding.

I mean, that’s not entirely undoable.

Ever seen the movie The Town? They do it. :D

Kidding, of course. ;)
Yes, I know how to do bench press, so probably this is possible too.

Hard to think big without at least 5 figures monthly. Hehe

Startups fail 90% of the time

Angel investors would sue me

Well, you can't really expect your first startup to hit big.

Like the saying goes
"Throw stuff against the wall and see which sticks"

It is just a matter of persistence. Keep at it, and something will eventually stick.

Business is an area that isn't made for people who want to give up just on the basis of
"90% of startups fail"

Shoot me a message if you ever feel like getting in to the startup scene.
I have experience in the field. A good part of my clientele are startup founders - many of whom are now multi-millionaires, and I've been a small part of that success.

It's not just money. Everything has lost it's taste.

Can I do it too?
Ps: didn't use the multi quote, sorry

Hey Reaaski bro, I can't seem to understand you. I see a lot of similarities between you and me (few visits to the hairdresser, lots of takeout food, energy drinks, thinking differently from the rest, etc.), but your posts sometimes seem a bit dark to me. Whenever I've been depressed, it's almost always been about money and/or job uncertainty, but from what I gather from your comments, you're doing very well financially. What torments you so much??
