The reason your website got hit is the same reason as the country named and the bird we eat at Xmas. Its a Turkey! Whats the point in your website, I'd honestly feel embarrassed for the google spiders having to crawl that, whats your mission statement for that site? You need to feel proud about your site and say something like
"my goal is to provide my visitors with top class information about X. I will make the site as professional and interesting as possible, matching that theme and providing value in that niche compared to the other sites in this area"
I know we are all on a journey, hell I even have sites that I want to improve myself, but you should pick a single topic, that you can write about first to get a feel for things. Also maybe run a general site beside it, but you need to make it stand out category-wise, and still be coherent. Your site atm is not something I bet you feel happy about browsing or putting down as a part of your portfolio? I get we all start somewhere, but I remember binning bout 10 sites that I first started before I decided to keep one, and I learned what the difference was to making a themed site concept through that. You have to look past just putting together a site to make money, and worrying about your visitor's experience last.
People will only regularly click on ads that they stay on the website with, and for that to happen, you have to create an inviting playground for them to enjoy. Otherwise, there is the back button.
