It's not the only site I've come across that has been de-indexed and then indexed again... they are dominating the SERPS.

Its highly possible some well known black hats are happen to be some Googler
's side hustle. Or it makes no sense, or sure, if that random algorithm DOES exist, that will always some luckyer.
