Google SERPS Increase or Drop?

I am seeing
Desktop: number of keywords jump in SERPS from regular positions of 7+, going up to 3-5
Gaining 10-15% in traffic

Mobile: position remains the same for SERPS 1-10... But 50% of our lower ranking keywords are gone.
Traffic down 10 -15%

Big G Roulette Wheel...Someone's doing to take that slot.

Stable is good! Slow growth is the best approach.

10-15% seems pretty normal and do happen on regular days without any need for SERP movements,
all is the same on my end, up & down reguraly

We too have seen red from our lower quality sites from the updates.
Most of our sites have remained nutral. We have built slowly and steadily over time and have made good progress.
But the concerning trend of a 50% drop on mobile had me concerned.
Fortunately looks like things have started to turn around. Here's an example:

Agreed.
10-15% in either direction I'd consider neutral on a normal week.
But years of building top quality, then seeing a 50% drop mobile-only, just a tiny distressing.
