There is nothing to do, no magical formula or anything yet. Google messed up! Lets the serp calm down, let Google fix it mistakes.
Meanwhile, do what you were doing before. The only benefit this update had, was that actually everyone start taking care of their websites, cleaned shitty backlinks, made sites faster, fixed content.......all to find out, it doesn't matter right now....its still Google that messed up.
Have to agreed with you , I refresh back last year till now the site I do is one year ++ start at end of 2018 , now is 2020 , this year end should be just 2 years old.
I recall fellow bros here mention google update , always will have some site owners gain it , some lose it.
i recall back the past few google updates, I roughly under the " average range " organic traffic , direct traffic , others still consider ok , as per normal
but this update i really get hit, organic traffic been hit , last week I see " seem " like slowly recover , this week is back to crap , just check my organic traffic from only 300++ per day now just 89 ,or 112 like that
top 10 lose another 3 keywords , don't know go which position havent check or so .
I don't want to do anything just carry one what i do usually . Put it simple Google is the boss, they can play around etc , how great your SEO score, etc , they want to screw around you, just suck thumb. sadly
