Google releasing a large update today

have anyone tried anything and can't see any improvement on rankings at all?

I have improved the ranking of many articles with updated content, but the traffic didn't budge regardless (it's going lower which is incredibly weird). Just do as I do and work on your social media profiles. The organic traffic will never be the same again.

Anyone noticed this weird thing happen on your Bounce rate???

last time my site bounce rate about 70 slowly high to 90

Anyone noticing crazy fluctuations going on right now? My site is bouncing a lot...

I'm pretty sure that they have some kind of nasty filter blocking traffic to your website even if you rank high for a targeted keyword. I've seen this since Jan. 9th silent update. What happens is that they let you rank for your main keyword which doesn't bring a lot of traffic even if the monthly search volume is high and you've lost all ranking for the long-tail keywords related to your main keyword that were bringing the most traffic/sales. When I looked at my data most of my traffic was generated by long-tail keywords not the keyword I was trying to rank for which now has been cut off.

It's a new thing and no one really knows how to get out of this. In my opinion, it must be related to on-page key-word density, anchor text, and links.

It's going to take a lot of testing to figure this one out.

It is true that Semrush is showing that the keyword bleeding is going strong and lots of long-tail keywords are gone, but I think it's a bit more than this. My website experienced a substantial increase in traffic right around when Discover became a thing (sometimes at the beginning of last year) and I also saw that in May this traffic went to 0 and never recovered. Something like your trial period has finished, now you got to pay to get the traffic back. In January 2020, I have also seen a drop in traffic by about 15-20 percent which is related more to the keywords disappearing, but at the moment, my organic traffic is cut by about 60% and I think it's mainly due to the Discover mess. If you search the Google forums for people that asked this question, there are barely any replies (which are usually incredibly vague).

Guys, I hate to see it. Traffic drop in may Core'ona update: -55%.
Now another -90%, starting at august 7-8.
Soon I reach zero if this continues.
Bounce rate did not change much.
G is evil.

Some of my white hat e-commerce sites seem to have taken a beating over the last three days. What's happening chaps?

Semrush has been showing my site slowly gaining back some KW's yet my traffic levels are still down. It's pretty obvious that google has placed some sort of filter and throttles the traffic levels back down despite ranking for more KW's. Also serps are still messed up. I'm not gonna bother wasting my time thinking about this too much anymore.
